During Mike's tenure on the City Council:

• Whetstone Sports Complex was built
  
  
• Downtown Restoration and Beautification Project was completed
  
  
• RTJ Capitol Hill completely developed
  
  
• Several parks, including Overlook Memorial Park, were built and refurbished.
  
  
• Major Retail growth was accomplished
  
  
• Economic Development projects were pursued successfully

In the next four years Mike plans to:

• Continue to help recruit strong businesses
  
  
• Promote positive growth in the retail sector
  
  
• Work to help fill empty commercial buidings
  
  
• Maintain a strong conservative approach to the City's spending and investments with an emphasis on operating lean and efficiently.
  
  
• Continue to promote an atmosphere of full disclosure and clarity in City Government.
  
  
• Assist the public school system in discovering and implementing revenue producing procedures and projects to help off-set the reduction in State and Federal contributions.
